MATTHEW GERARD: Executive Vice President

 

Matthew Gerard, as Executive Vice President of Solutions International, oversees business management activities as well as directly managing client strategy development and the strategy delivery team for each client project. Mr. Gerard has developed and executed strategies to deliver projects in excess of $6.5 billion. Matthew Gerard has distinguished public infrastructure experience specializing in public private partnerships, innovative project finance, funding, and delivery, government relations, partnership development and/or team structures, and strategic planning. Companies with whom Mr. Gerard has worked recently include ACS Infrastructure Development, Dragados and the LINXS team on the LAX Automated People Mover P3 project as well as SENER and ACS in putting together the strategy and structure for the revitalization of Angels Flight, among others. 

 

Mr. Gerard also leads the Technology Implementation practice at Solutions International which leverages his expertise in 21st Century technology solutions specializing in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, and Internet of Things for the infrastructure sector.     

Mr. Gerard also has broad public and private sector experience from working for the US Government and Fortune 50 companies. As part of the US Commercial Service, a division of the US Department of Commerce, he designed, consulted, and executed international expansion strategies for US companies. UPS, Inc. then recruited Matthew as a Business Consultant where he specialized in taking UPS clients into international markets via logistical, financial, and political tools and advising UPS business strategy on public infrastructure policy for logistics and regulatory business impacts. 

 

​Matthew also founded or co-founded several businesses in his career including MG2 Innovations LLC with a specialization in technology infrastructure and MGI, Inc, a management consultancy, to name a few.

​Matthew has both a BA and a BAH, Magna Cum Laude, from Villanova University and a Masters from the University of Southern California, with a specialization in Artificial Intelligence in Business Strategy from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). He is a member of Phi Beta Kappa and an avid world traveler. In his free time, he enjoys chasing his 4 year old around the house.
